🎉 Welcome, Mr. Brian Wilcox! 🎉 The Sayre Area School District is excited to welcome Mr. Brian Wilcox as the new Building Principal at H. Austin Snyder Elementary School! Mr. Wilcox joins our administrative team with more than 11 years of administrative experience, including 7 years at the elementary level. He holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education from Mansfield University. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Wilcox to the Sayre Area School District! We look forward to his commitment to serving our students, supporting our staff and families, and building a strong learning environment that moves our students forward. The summer Rec program will not have access to the pool today. All students should be picked up today at 1:00 pm at Snyder Elementary School. No open swim, Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Due to power outages at the High School today, the Summer Rec program will not have access to the pool this afternoon. No open Swim. Students will need to be picked up at 1:00 p.m. at the Elementary building.

Sports Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is NOW OPEN!

Students planning to participate in athletics next school year should complete their registration as soon as possible.

Attention Summer Rec: The week of July 6-10 3PM pickup will be at Snyder Elementary rather than the High School.

Attention Summer Rec. Campers. In celebration of the 4th of July holiday, there will be NO camp on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Attention! Conditioning will be held on Wednesday, this week 7 to 8 pm. See you at the Lockhart St Bowl!

Weight Training 🏋️and Conditioning will take place Monday-Friday from 7:30am -8:45am at the Sayre HS weight room/gym for students in grades 6-12. Conditioning will also take place in the Lockhart Street Bowl on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm- 8:00pm. 📣Please note:Weight Training and Conditioning will be cancelled on the mornings of July 7, 8, and 9 due to a scheduled power outage.

Thank you for providing all the incubators, materials and eggs needed for all the fun hatching that took place this year in the elementary school classrooms.
