The Board of Directors is seeking interested candidates to fill an open Board position immediately through December 2027. Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest to Tammy Shedden by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at tshedden@sayresd.org. Qualified candidates will be interviewed during the public board meeting on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

What an incredible day our 3rd graders had at Jellystone! From outdoor adventures and exciting activities to spending time with friends, our students created memories they will carry with them for years to come. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the day were truly priceless. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our PTG, Sayre Area School District, and our families for providing this wonderful opportunity for our students. Your generosity, support, and dedication helped make this special experience possible. As the school year comes to a close, we are grateful for days like today that allow our students to celebrate their hard work, build friendships, and simply enjoy being kids. We are so proud of our 3rd graders and all they have accomplished this year!

The Connections Cafe got a beautiful new sign thanks to the hard work and creativity of Mr. Kap and Mrs. Pelka. From designing and building to painting the finished product, they did an outstanding job every step of the way. Thank you, Mr. Kap and Mrs. Pelka, for helping make the Connections Cafe shine! ☕✨👏

Congratulations to Isabelle Stamile , Isabelle placed 2nd in the individual freestyle bracket, At the Queen of the Jungle tournament held at Kalahari.

First graders Iris Scott is putting her finishing touches on her ice dragon egg in art. Iris has shown dedication to enhancing her creative abilities this year and did a beautiful job on this final piece for the year. We are excited to see how her skills grow in the future. Great job Iris!

Come support the Sayre High School Color Guard in the 2026 Color Guard Showcase on Wednesday June 3rd in the high school gymnasium at 6:00pm! See our color guard team members featured in solos, duets, and group numbers using a variety of equipment such as flags, batons, sabres, etc. There is a $5 entrance fee. Also have the chance to win raffles provided by local businesses and color guard parents. See you there!!

The annual Sayre parents vs kids softball game took place over the weekend with the kids winning 29-18. Congrats to all involved!
