CORRECTION: This Friday will be the first girls JV/V basketball practice of the season. This will be from 6:00-8:00pm in the HS gym. This NOT be an open gym.
The final girls basketball open gym will be held this Friday 11/14 from 6:00-8:00pm in the high school gym.
Recreation wrestling will begin 11/14 from 6 to 8 pm in the Snyder Mat Room. You and your athlete can enter through the lower level doors. Doors will open at 5:45 and close at 6:10, after 6:10 you will not be able to get in. Please DO NOT drop your athlete off and leave, walk them into the Mat Room.

Open gym for wrestlers boys and girls grades 7-12 last week before regular season kicks off get out there and give it a try you might just fall in love with the greatest sport out there. Students in Mrs. Conden's class put their learning into action on Tuesday. They learned the basics of the voting process and then voted on a class president for the day based on showing RISE attributes. We had a lot of amazing candidates in the race. The president got to sit at the teacher's desk for the day!

Musical season is almost upon us!!! SHS will perform Freaky Friday, a show about love, loss, and growth, on March 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2026. Auditions will be open to students in grades 7-12 and will take place on Monday, December 15th, 2025 and callbacks on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025.
The show follows leading lady Ellie Blake, a high school student, who magically switches bodies with her mother, hardworking business owner Katherine Blake. Follow the misadventures and hard truths they will encounter as they try to switch back to normal!

Stop into the Sayre Public Library this Saturday, Nov. 8th from 10:30AM-1:30PM to help celebrate retired SASD teacher, Mrs. Lisa Cole, as she launches her newest book, Amos and the CRAZY Christmas Car Ride! Copies of the book will be available to purchase during the event!
