The National Honor Society will be holding a gently used children's book drive.
Books can be placed in the boxes located in Sndyer's Main Office or at the High School: Cafeteria, Guidance Office, Brock St. Entrance or Mrs. Short's room.
Books are being collected now through Oct. 24.

On Friday Sept. 26, 2025 members of the National Honor Society turned a design into a reality. Last spring members submitted designs to Mr. Green to create a nice landscaping feature in the Lockhart St. Bowl. Mr. Green selected his favorite design and asked for help in making it come to life. These members spent the afternoon shoveling dirt, dumping buckets of dirt and planting flowers. Thank you for the hard work!
NHS Members in the photos: Kelsey Denico, Andrew Golden, Logan Howard, Aubri Husted, Lily Shaw and Madalyn Wibirt.

The students and staff running the Connections Cafe continue to be absolute rockstars! Breakfast Sandwich Fridays are now up and running—and busier than ever. Their hard work and teamwork make us all Redskin proud!

Wednesday night lights…it’s The CAVALCADE of Bands!!
The showcase performances of the season were held at Alparon Park in Troy Wednesday night. The Sayre Marching Redskins under the leadership of drum majors Maddie Wibirt & Dylan Bahr really had the crowd excited & involved with their tunes, which featured several solos. The band front wowed them during ‘counting stars’ featuring a silk switch over the band, along with impressive fire batons!!
The band would also like to shout out both the football and cheer squads & their coaches for making the trip out to support them in their biggest season performance! Thank you for your kindness & encouragement!

Ryleigh and Aeiden, students in Mrs. Wheeler’s class, started at their first Work Experience Program job site- Lily of the Valley Flower Shop in downtown Sayre. It was a great learning experience and both girls were naturals at putting together floral arrangements. Sarah and Heather were amazing leaders and we are very thankful for this awesome opportunity. ❤️💙
