We are excited to announce that Mrs. Kristine Podolinski has been appointed as our new Assistant Principal K-12. Mrs. Podolinski has proudly served the students and families of the Sayre community for more than 17 years as an elementary teacher at H. Austin Snyder Elementary School. Throughout her career, she has built meaningful relationships with students while demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success. In addition to her work in the classroom, Mrs. Podolinski has been actively involved in our athletic programs, serving as a girls' soccer coach for several years and coaching a variety of recreational sports. She has completed her Administrative Coursework through Penn State University, further preparing her for this exciting leadership opportunity. We are confident that Mrs. Podolinski's passion for education, dedication to our students, and deep connection to the Sayre community will make her a tremendous addition to our administrative team. Congratulations, Mrs. Podolinski! We look forward to the positive impact you will continue to make in your new role. 💙❤️

Please join us in welcoming our newest staff member, Miss Haylee Ludington 🎉 Miss Ludington will join the Sayre Area School District's Junior/Senior High staff as a Secondary Social Studies Teacher . We are excited to welcome her to the Sayre family and look forward to the knowledge, experience, and passion for education she will bring to our students. We asked Miss Ludington to share a little about herself. I graduated from Galeton in 2019 and went on to earn two bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Environmental Science from Pitt-Brad in 2023. From there I went on to sub at Galeton for a year and then taught in my own classroom in the history department at Galeton for the last two years. I’m excited to start this next new adventure here at Sayre! If I’m not in the classroom I’m spending time with family, reading, or traveling! Please join us in welcoming Miss Ludington to Sayre! We are excited to have her on our team! 💙❤️

We had the best time at Kinder Camp this year!  We cannot wait to be back together in August!  We will see everyone for Open House on August 24th.  We cannot thank the families enough for bringing 38 students to our 3 day camp.  Also, a huge shout out to our wonderful volunteers, cafeteria staff, bus company, office staff, Administration, and all of our coworkers for making the camp so wonderful!  We wouldn’t be able to be so successful without each and every single one of you!

We are excited to welcome her to the Sayre family and look forward to the knowledge, experience, and passion for education she will bring to our students. We asked Miss Allen to share a little about herself. I am an Athens Area High School graduate and earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Hartwick College. This past year, I was grateful to be welcomed into the Sayre School District as a long-term substitute, and I am excited to return this year as a permanent member of the faculty! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy my time visiting local antique stores, and can often be found hiding behind a blanket watching horror films. Please join us in welcoming Miss Allen to Sayre! Please join us in welcoming our newest staff member, Mr. Michael Zimmer 🎉 Mr. Zimmer will join the Sayre Area School District's Elementary staff as a Second-Grade Teacher. We are excited to welcome him to the Sayre family and look forward to the knowledge, experience, and passion for education he will bring to our students. We asked Mr. Zimmer to share a little about himself. I graduated from Waverly High School in 2019 and continued my education at Alfred University. In 2023, I earned my Bachelor's degrees in Childhood Education and Child Psychology. I then returned to Alfred University and earned my Master's degree in Literacy Education in 2025. For the past three years, I have been teaching kindergarten within the Waverly Central School District. I am excited to continue my teaching career in the Sayre Area School District! Outside of the classroom, you'll most likely find me at the thrift store, spending time with my family, or reading! Please join us in welcoming Mr. Zimmer to Sayre! I graduated from Athens Area High School and earned my degree in Physical Education from St. Bonaventure University, where I also played Division I soccer. Outside the gymnasium, I love staying active, enjoying the outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends. I am very excited to be back in the Valley! Please join us in welcoming our newest staff member, Mr. Adam Zwierlein 🎉 Mr. Zwierein will be joining the Sayre Area School District's Elementary staff as a 6th-grade teacher. We are excited to welcome him to the Sayre family and look forward to the knowledge, experience, and passion for education he will bring to our students. We asked Mr Zwierlein to share a little about himself: I am a Tioga Central High School graduate with a childhood education degree from Buffalo State University and a master's degree in childhood mathematics education from WGU. Previously, I taught 4th grade for 5 years in the Candor Central School District. My wife and I have twin girls, Viviann and Sonni. Outside of school, I enjoy weight lifting, flea marketing, and golfing. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Zwierlein to Sayre! We are excited to have him on our team! 💙❤️

Please join us in welcoming our newest staff member, Mrs. Trisha Brockoff! 🎉 Mrs. Brockoff will be joining the Sayre Area School District Junior/Senior High School staff as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher. We are excited to welcome her to the Sayre family and look forward to the knowledge, experience, and passion for education she will bring to our students. We asked Mrs. Brockoff to share a little about herself: I am a Waverly High School graduate with an MBA in Finance (National University) and a Master's degree in Education (Elmira College). I previously taught technology at Waverly for three years and proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and animals on our small farm and reading a good book Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Brockoff to Sayre! 🎉 Welcome, Mr. Brian Wilcox! 🎉 The Sayre Area School District is excited to welcome Mr. Brian Wilcox as the new Building Principal at H. Austin Snyder Elementary School! Mr. Wilcox joins our administrative team with more than 11 years of administrative experience, including 7 years at the elementary level. He holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education from Mansfield University.
