Iris Kohan (Torrey) Iris Kohan is a junior at Sayre Area High School. This is the 5th school musical that she has participated in. This is the first show where she has auditioned for a role. Before this, she operated a spotlight for The Wizard of Oz, The Little Mermaid, The Music Man, and Guys and Dolls. She would like to thank her friends and family for convincing her to audition for Sayre Area High School’s production of Freaky Friday.

Mercedes Warfle (Mike, Parker’s Dad) Mercedes Warfle is a sophomore at Sayre Area High school. Mercedes plays Mike and Parker’s Dad. This is Mercedes' third musical in high school. She was previously in two shows, The Little Mermaid as ensemble and Guys and Dolls as Harry the Horse. She enjoys other extracurriculars, including, Gaming Club, Art Club, Drama Club, Floor Hockey, Student Government, Student Council, and Future Teacher Association. She thanks you all for coming and hopes you enjoy the show.

April brings us Autism Awareness Month. Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD),refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication. Neveah Rounsville (Fletcher, Student, Ellie’s Understudy) Neveah Rounsville is a junior at Sayre Area High School. She is very excited to be in this production of Freaky Friday playing Fletcher. Neveah has been in The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, Big the Musical, Guys and Dolls, and Newsies. She has a lot of hobbies outside of musicals, including cheerleading, community theater, colorguard, and lots of reading. She would like to thank her family for supporting her in the things she does. She would also like to thank her fellow cast members, directors, and everyone that made this show happen! They have made this year a great year with lots of fun memories, amazing support and incredible kindness.

Logan Howard (Adam) Logan is a senior, making this his final show here at Sayre, playing Adam. He has been around since The Wizard of Oz on the stage crew and finally performed in The Little Mermaid, and has been in each musical since. He’s gone from ensemble to supporting roles and all the way up to main characters, and this year is no different. Logan loves participating in everything music—concert band, marching band, jazz band—and even went to county band this year. His other activities include Class Office Secretary and NHS Historian, trying to keep his senior year relaxed and with the things he loves. After Graduation, Logan plans on going to Penn State for his elementary teaching degree! He knows that the cast and crew have put a ton of work into bringing these pages to life and unfolding in front of your eyes, and he hopes you have as much fun watching as he had performing it for you. Emma and Hudson had a great showing at the NE Throwers Invit. Emma made the finals in both the shot 9th and discus 6th, throwing a PR of 26' in the shot and 91'1"for the discus. Hudson became the first athlete to qualify for districts in track with a PR throw of 45'9" placing 4th in the process. The team opens up their season on Weds. at Athens.

Kelsey Denico (Katherine Blake) Kelsey Denico is a senior at Sayre High school playing the role of Katherine Blake. This is her third musical, the first being The Music Man (Jacey Squires–Quartet) and the second being Guys and Dolls (Big Jule), both produced by SHS. Most of her time is spent delegating between her other extracurricular activities, which include NHS, GVCC, Speech and Debate, Tiny Mics, FBLA, Class Office, Quiz League, and Marching Band. She plans to study English. Thank you for coming and enjoy the show!

Abby Kinsman  (Ellie Blake) Abby Kinsman is a junior at SHS, and will be playing the role of Ellie Blake. This will be her fourth show with Sayre, her past roles being General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls; Eulalie Mackeknie Shinn in The Music Man, and Ensemble in The Little Mermaid. Her extracurricular activities include Speech and Debate, Tiny Mics, NHS, FBLA, Gaming Club, and Class Office. She knows the cast, crew, and directors put a lot of time and work into the show, and she hopes everyone enjoys it!
