This morning a Sayre Area School District bus was involved in a minor accident. The Green Bus was the bus that was involved in the incident. The parents of each of the students on the bus were contacted by Sayre Area School District administrators, and all of the students were checked out by medical personnel. There were no injuries and all of the students went to school a few minutes late and received breakfast when they arrived. A BIG thank you goes out to the Sayre Borough Police Department and the Greater Valley EMS for their assistance with the situation.

Student Spotlight 🎉 Mylee Medina is a 9th grade student involved in volleyball, cheer, SADD, Student Council, softball, & FBLA. She likes geometry since she feels she is best at math. She really likes the red velvet cookies the cafeteria serves.

Sayre Area Jr-Sr High School was recently awarded the NTL Sportsmanship award and the District IV PIAA Sportsmanship award for the 2025-2026 school year. Participating in athletics is about much more than wins and losses, it is also about the life lessons learned while helping young men and women grow into high quality adults through their experiences on the courts and fields. Thank you players, coaches, parents, and fans for showcasing Sayre in such an amazing way, this is a wonderful representation of the District!
