JR-Hi boys soccer won Wednesday 7-1 vs Troy. Sayre student Cohen Kraft
scored 3 goals and Hunter VanDerpoel had a goal and an assist.
Yearbook staff members travelled to Wellsboro High School today for a Jostens Yearbook workshop along side students from Williamson, Wellsboro, and Northern Potter. Students learned about photography, theme planning, interviewing skills, page design, and had a chance to work with a Jostens artist to design the 2024 cover. Our Speech & Debate Drama Llamas are back for another exciting year! While the first tournament isn’t until November, our students are in “conditioning” mode. From watching examples of performances and debates to searching for pieces, our Drama Llamas are gearing up for what will surely be a great competition season!

In JV football news, the team lost to Canton last night in the Lockhart St. Bowl. Outside of a few big pass plays given up, the team played well in their first game of the season. Jordan Brown and Dalton Forrest had strong games on both sides of the ball and Victor Mumo had some nice plays on offense and special teams. JV will be in action next on September 11 against Muncy.
