
Sayre’s Jr-Hi Volleyball’s A and B teams both beat Canton in 3 sets last night, Coach Garrity was very pleased with the fun the girls had while playing together in their big win against Canton, great job girls!


What better way to celebrate letter O in Kindergarten than learning about owls. A friend Jane Swift returned to teach us all kinds of awesome facts about owls and brought along lots of cool stuff to share.

Congratulations to the boys cross country team on their hard fought 1 point win over Wellsboro yesterday. The Redskin boys were led by freshman Glen VanBenthusyn with a big second place finish in his first ever cross country race. He got strong team support from Hunter Kimball, Victor Mumo, Sam Claypool and Caleb Grover. Great job boys you make us Redskin proud.


In Varsity girls soccer action Sayre student athletes shined with Meg Flynn had some amazing blocks defensively, Lizzy Shaw had some great runs, and Olivia Thompson scored a goal in the 3-0 win against NEB. Great job ladies!

Jr-Hi Volleyball had a hard fought intense match with North Penn Liberty on Wednesday. The A squad lost in 3 sets, while the B squad won in 2 sets, holding NPL under 10 points each set. Both squads are improving each time on the floor, great job girls!


Class of 2024 is hosting an Open Swim!

Kindergarten learned all about our friend the bat today. Mrs. Jane Swift from the department of Conservation and Natural Resources came to share many interesting bat facts with us.



Congratulations to the cross country teams on their performances yesterday against Athens and Mansfield. The Redskin boys led by Hunter Kimball took a thrilling 1 point win over Mansfield to open their season! In Junior high action Saul Reyes took first place honors in his first ever cross country race. Great job teams !!
