The 2016 Spring Pennsylvania System of School Assessment exams (PSSA’s) will be administered to all students in grades three through eight beginning on April 11, 2016. Students will begin with the English/language arts (ELA) exam and then complete the mathematics assessment. Students in grades four and eight will then take a science assessment. One assessment module will be given each day and all exams must be completed by May 6, 2016.
To help increase your child’s opportunity for success when taking the PSSA exams:
1. Make sure your child gets enough sleep during the evenings preceding the exams.
2. Be sure your child has had a good breakfast on the morning of the exams.
3. Encourage your child to perform well on the exams and inquire about the exams in the evening.
