Sayre Student’s Abby Moliski and Corbin Brown Win New York Times Awards

In September, the New York Times invited teenagers from around the world to illustrate their opinions and criticisms about current issues and events in the news.

The NY Times just recently announced their winners for their 2nd annual editorial contest and the work of two of our very own Sayre High students have been recognized by a panel of  NY Times judges and professional cartoonists.

Congratulations to Abby Moliski for earning 1 of the 6 first place honors with her work on gender pay inequality and congratulations to Corbin Brown for earning 1 of the 18 honorable mention honors, for his work on athletes and national anthem protests,  and congratulations to all the Sayre HS students who submitted an editorial cartoon entry.
