Sayre Area School District works to educate students about Internet safety. We are also taking every reasonable precaution to keep students safe while using the Internet at school by:
- Supervising and monitoring student Internet activity while in school.
- Utilizing an Internet Filtering System (Smart Filter) to proactively block inappropriate and unacceptable content (each day more sites are marked as inappropriate and blocked).
- Utilizing student computer lab monitoring software (Geneva Logic's Vision)
Today, many students access the Internet at home. As responsible parents, please take the time to understand what the safety risks are when you and your child use the Internet.

NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for children aged 5 to 17, parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.
