Crimson Blues is a select choir that rehearses outside of regular school hours, after school for one hour one day a week.
There is no formal audition to join, but it does require the commitments of extracurricular time and hard musical work.
This group travels to various community events to perform, including Waverly’s Tinsel n’ Lights, holiday caroling around downtown Sayre, and performs separately from the Concert Choir at our fall and spring concerts.
Crimson Blues performs pieces that are a cappella (unaccompanied by piano), often more difficult than Concert Choir’s repertoire, and that cover a wide range of styles.
