STUDENT MEAL BALANCES/CHARGE POLICY
It’s important that cafeteria meals are paid for in advance, with money put on the student’s account, or at the time the meal is taken.  THANK YOU!  You can check your student’s cafeteria balance any time by using Skyward family access.  When a student owes money to the cafeteria account, parents/guardians will receive notification via an automated phone call stating the student’s balance.  If you have questions about a student’s balance, please contact the cafeteria manager or the Food Service Director.

PARTY FOOD MENU!

NEW TO YOU!  We are now making decorated cookie cakes for classroom events, and more!  See the attached “Party Foods” form for more details and for ordering specifics!  Save yourself the time and energy of running out for a classroom treat and contact us instead!  $10.00 for the cookie cake that feeds a classroom…!

JANUARY HAPPENINGS:   

Monday, 1/8 we’re having our TASTY BITES offering of Caramel Drizzled Apples at SNYDER ELEMENTARY!  As with all our TASTY BITES items, these meet the guidelines for a fruit serving as part of a reimbursable meal!

  Friday, 1/19 – PENGUINS AWARENESS DAY!  1/20 is officially “Penguin Awareness Day” and we are honoring these adorable aquatic, flightless birds.  Of course, Fish Sticks are on the menu, to honor the favorite “dish” of penguins!

  1/31 – WELLNESS WEDNESDAY at Snyder Elementary – Stewed Tomatoes – a classic, low fat, Vitamin C rich vegetable item!  (Every month we offer samples of a new food at Snyder, to all students no matter if the “buy” or pack!)

                          

RECIPE OF THE MONTH at SHS:  A blast from the past, in the High School Cafeteria on Friday, 1/19 – Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy!

TNG CAFE ITEM of the month (sold as ala carte in the high school) – PUDDING PARFAITS! $1.00 gets you a creamy good pudding cup (vanilla, butterscotch and chocolate flavores!) topped with marshmallows, whipped cream, and more!
