Director of Technology’s Message
Rick Rava

Classrooms for the Future (CFF) is one of a wide array of technology initiatives at Sayre Area School District. These initiatives have been successful due to the support from our state government, school board, administration, teachers, students, and staff.  I have personally witnessed a strong interest from students to use and apply the new technologies on a variety of school projects.  This has been successful due to the strong commitment from our teachers (for example, 100% of our primary subject teachers have committed to the training and requirements of CFF).  As a result of this new technology, students who would commonly struggle with verbal instruction, have an opportunity to learn with stimulating visuals and engaging hands-on instruction.  This makes me “Redskin Proud”.

The Classrooms for The Future grant has enabled our teachers to prepare our student’s for tomorrow’s challenges, today.  Through the grant, we have been able to communicate globally with classrooms around the world; provide our teachers with additional professional development; and enhance projects through the use of multimedia tools.
