Science Today Class Visits Schweizer Aircraft and The National Soaring Museum

On October 29, 2009 Mrs. Schwab's Science today class visited Sikorsky-Schweizer aircraft. Well there they learned about the development of Helicopters. They got to see parts being built as well as sit in some completed helicopters like the one behind them in the picture. Later that day they also visited The National Soaring Museum were they learned about piloting gliders. They also got to fly a glider simulator as well as a powered plane simulator.
